The defending CIF Southern Section Division 4AA finalist and Southern California Regional Division 4 finalist suffered a 25-23, 25-22, 25-19 loss to Archer on Saturday night.
Coach Steve Yoshimoto said the loss could knock La Reina from consideration for the state playoffs.
Michelle Shaffer had 15 kills and 14 digs for La Reina (27-10). Isabelle Simqu had nine kills and two blocks. Ava Hudson had seven kills and five digs. Natalie Comfort tallied 15 digs, and Katie Byrne had 33 assists and nine digs.
